1. Who we are
Norskprøven.ai ("we", "us", the "Service") is operated by a Norwegian sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak), org.nr 935 930 596, registered in Norway. You can reach us at [email protected]. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. What the Service is
Norskprøven.ai is a web-based practice tool for the oral part of Norskprøven, the official Norwegian language exam, at levels A2 and B1. It provides guided speaking drills, picture and conversation tasks, native-voice examples, and AI-assisted feedback that records your speech, transcribes it, and evaluates how well you were understood.
We are an independent tool and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HK-dir (Direktoratet for høyere utdanning og kompetanse), Kompetanse Norge, or UDI. «Norskprøven» refers to the official exam administered by HK-dir. Using the Service does not register you for any exam and does not guarantee any exam result. It is a study aid, not a certification.
3. Plans, payment and billing
Access is sold as digital subscriptions and a one-time access pass. There is no physical product. Current plans (prices in Norwegian kroner):
- 3-Month Cram Pack — 495 kr, one-time payment, 90 days of access, no auto-renewal.
- Monthly subscription — 295 kr per month, renews automatically until canceled.
- Annual subscription — 1,750 kr per year, renews automatically until canceled.
All plans include both A2 and B1 content and every feature. Payments, invoicing, and applicable taxes (including Norwegian MVA) are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, and their Buyer Terms also apply to the transaction. We never receive or store your full card details.
4. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or via the receipt Paddle emails you; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period. The Cram Pack does not renew and simply expires after 90 days.

5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. The Service is for your personal use; do not share your account, resell access, or attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute the content, audio, or software. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to purchase.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service — for example by interfering with its operation, attempting to bypass the paywall, reverse-engineering it, or using it to break the law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its content, drills, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Recordings you make and personal phrases you add remain yours; you grant us permission to process them only to provide the Service (see the Privacy Policy).
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". AI feedback and transcriptions can be imperfect and are for practice only — they are not an official assessment and do not predict your exam result. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any exam outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Norwegian law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Questions? Email [email protected].
